Mac Ince joined Artswork as Data Research Administrator in January of 2013. Rather fittingly for his role, Mac loves data.
Since 2004 he has worked within the South coast’s contemporary music scene, organising and promoting many events under the banner of EjectorSeat. In 2008, he led the organisation as Director, developing it into the more formal structure of a voluntary association. He was able to explore his love for local arts and culture and increase the organisation’s engagement with both audiences and artists under the free EjectorSeat Arts Festival held in Southampton.
As well as his event management experience gained with EjectorSeat, he has acquired a wide range of project management skills having previously worked for Southampton City Council as a Building Contracts Manager.
He studied International Business Studies at The University of Northampton, and also has a broad range of venue-based experience, working as a Box Office Administrator for the Roadmender in Northampton, and as a Gallery Assistant for the John Hansard Gallery.
