Jay has a long history with Artswork, having worked across many areas with us since 2005, including in Operations, Artsplan, helping to shape the Creative Apprenticeship Programme, and supporting Artswork’s wider creative employability programmes as a freelancer. In 2010-11, she led the national ENYAN campaign, Youth Arts Transforms Lives – FACT!
She joined us again as an employee in March 2017, coordinating the new Creativity Plus Programme and delivering creative employability workshops for young people leaving care to improve their life chances.
Jay’s work has also seen her involved with Hampshire County Council, Art Asia, hub4 and The Champions projects, as well as freelance delivery of creative training courses including our Youth Arts Project Management accredited 6-day course.
Jay is also a flautist and, having just returned to the UK after 3 years in Spain, is interested to start new collaborations with local musicians.
