You will coordinate and deliver formal and informal learning and engagement programmes. You will have experience of formal or informal learning in a museums or archives setting and experience of managing volunteers.
The Stories of Lynn project is led by the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, working in partnership with Norfolk Record Office and Norfolk Museums Service.
This £3 million project will see a major redevelopment of King’s Lynn’s iconic Town Hall building and its environment that will transform public access to the historic building, along with the rich collections and archives it houses.
The Town Hall collections include civic regalia, fine art and furniture, whilst the archives contain a broad range of nationally significant documents from the 13th century onwards. Key elements of the project include the creation of a new Stories of Lynn exhibition, the development of a new archive store and search room and improved access to historic spaces across the building.
The project will also see the development and delivery of a comprehensive Activity Plan designed to broaden participation and engagement with this unique building and its collections.
