Community Arts Administration

Community arts involves planning, promoting and running participatory events, exhibitions and projects to engage members of the local community.
This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to train and work as a Community Arts Administration Assistant. You will learn about and undertake roles such as organising and publicising events and exhibitions, assisting with financial record-keeping, customer care, dealing with touring and resident groups/ bands/orchestras, assisting with the management of the building and general office work, including using a range of IT software.
Live Events and Promotion
Are you passionate about putting on a good show? Are you organised and determined?
Live Events and Promotion involves everything to do with putting on a show or event, from the promotion to staging. It includes everything from money and marketing to technology and logistics. Apprentices train in administrative and/or support roles including stage/venue crew support and event booking assistants.
Cultural and Heritage Venue Operations
Are you interested in preserving the past and working with the public?
Cultural heritage is all about museums, galleries, heritage and conservation. This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to work as either a Conservation Assistant – recording objects, writing descriptions, overseeing cleaning, repairing/restoring objects, hosting tours for groups, assisting talks – or in Front of House and Administration Support roles – developing venue knowledge, ticket sales, exhibition group bookings, dealing with customers, maintenance and setting up and running systems, such as finance, staff records and visitor numbers
