The Creative Network South (CNS) was launched at a conference on Monday 22nd October 2012 at The Point, Eastleigh.
CNS represents organisations in the private, public and education sectors working together to support the development of the creative economy. The networks priority is to promote employment, employability and graduate entrepreneurship.
CNS was formed through an alliance between the Partnership for Urban South Hampshire (PUSH), The University of Southampton, The University of Portsmouth, The University of Winchester and Southampton Solent University, The Youth Arts Development Agency, Artswork, Aspace and The South East Design Forum.
In the coming year the Network aims to promote projects which will develop work based learning in the sector, promote graduate entrepreneurship and provide business support for new creative businesses.
