Through Partnership Investments, Artswork is able to support strategic joint investment and commissioning and broker delivery of cultural programmes for children and young people.
Partnership Investment supports the development of innovative models of delivery, nurtures quality and enhances practice and partnerships across the formal and informal learning sectors. It is a way to approach particular local issues by working with all relevant stakeholders with an emphasis on strategic activity rather than one-off interventions. Through Partnership Investment and ‘pooling’ of resources, our partners use arts and culture as the solution to shared issues and to achieve common objectives.
Bridge Organisations are not positioned as grant-giving organisations. Partnership investment is a contribution to the strategic alignment of cross-sector funding models. Any activity generated through the use of Partnership Investment is generated through Bridges acting as an independent broker and working to support organisations’ commissioning activity. It is not expected that bridges will act as commissioners themselves, except in rare circumstances.
