Artswork has empowered children and young people through arts and culture for the last 30 years. A national voice celebrating the arts, creativity and cultural development for, with and by young people, we are committed to improving their life chances and making a difference.
At Artswork we strive to make the arts and creativity available to absolutely everyone. We aim to break through barriers and develop new ways for people to discover the success, empowerment and sheer joy that the arts and creativity can bring to classrooms, communities and careers.

Empowering children and young people through arts and culture
Using valuable tools including Artsmark and Arts Award, we provide support to schools and education settings working to champion the vital role of the arts in children and young people’s lives.
Access to arts, culture and heritage should be a right, not a privilege. That’s why we work with organisations to help increase their engagement with children and young people across the country.
We support, develop and deliver projects and programmes which empower children and young people through the arts, helping them to discover passions, talents and even careers
We deliver creative skills programmes and apprenticeships to provide young people with the opportunity to gain skills, confidence and practical experience in their local arts, culture and heritage organisations. Through these programmes, we aim to increase access and broaden the horizons of young people whilst diversifying our creative and cultural workforce
Working across sectors, including Local Authorities, we deliver a range of place-based projects focusing on specific community needs and supporting cultural engagement with, for and by children and young people.
Our well-established Professional Development programme of over 30 courses has been developed in consultation with the arts, cultural, youth and education sectors, enabling participants to leave with tangible skills that can be embedded across their work.
