Getting to Artswork
We hope that the information and resources on this page will support you in planning and travelling to Artswork’s main office.
This is a new area of our website and was originally designed to support neurodivergent visitors, we hope it is useful to all visitors. If you have suggestions of what else would be useful to include please email info@artswork.org.uk.
Whilst we have made every effort to make Artswork as accessible as we can, the building we occupy has limited access and facilities for visitors with mobility challenges. Despite our requests our landlord has not resolved these. If you require additional assistance with stairs or use a wheelchair please let the member of the Artswork team you are meeting with know so we can make your visit to us as easy for you as possible.

By Bike
Southampton is a cycling friendly city, below are links to the best routes around Southampton.

There are various places to lock your bike up locally, Southampton Library (we are then across the park) the shops on Bedford Place (just around the corner from our office) and Southampton Train Station (our nearest train station), we can also arrange for your bike to be stored in the building – this will need to be arranged with your Artswork contact beforehand.
It is a fact of life that bikes are taken, please secure your bike, Artswork is not responsible for any loss and remember;
Lock down every part of the bike, especially if you have quick-release wheels (i.e. so don’t only lock the frame)
If you have a nice saddle, consider removing it and taking it with you
Leave your bike parked somewhere in the public eye, not tucked away on a side-street
