Annabel reflects on her Kickstart journey

Annabel was one of seven Kickstarters in Artswork’s first cohort. Working at the National Museum for the Royal Navy, she reflects on her time there and how the Kickstart scheme has benefitted her.

“The Kickstart opportunity has helped me build confidence and experience, and I feel ready and prepared for future job roles, whatever they may be.

My greatest achievement was being able to plan, manage and produce my own event for Remembrance Day. I enjoyed being able to see an idea of mine grow into a real event that people liked, and that the organisation wants to continue it in the future.

I would recommend the Kickstart programme to anyone who wants to have an opening into a job that they will love with so many opportunities and gain immense valuable experience whilst doing so.”
