Our ‘Artswork Essentials Package’ of professional development training explained…
Date Created: 5th Mar 2018
This year we’ve launched the ‘Artswork Essentials Package’ to prepare arts and culture professionals for anything, when working with children and young people.
Three separate courses come together to provide attendees with a comprehensive understanding of their rights and responsibilities when it comes to protecting the young people they work with from harm, and enhancing their experience for the better.
When: 10am – 4:15pm on Wednesday 16 May, Tuesday 10 July and Tuesday 25th September
Where: Cockpit Arts, London
As an attendee, you will navigate the nitty-gritty of current Child Protection and Prevent legislation, getting to the heart of its relevance to your work. Our trainers provide expertise in how to implement best practice in these areas, along with offering tips and tools for championing Equality and Diversity in line with the Arts Council’s Creative Case for Diversity.
By booking a place on our Essentials Package you will save £55, with an even greater saving available to organisations and individuals operating in the south East through our Bridge subsidy rate.
Make the most of “a unique opportunity to ensure your organisation is prepared, informed and clearly demonstrating its commitment to these vital areas of policy and practice” (Jane Bryant, Chief Executive, Artswork) by booking your place today.
Full details of the Essentials Package can be found here.
