Over the past two years, Artswork, Unloc and Youth Options have been working with young people across the Solent region examining the causes and impact of youth violence.

The project included research conducted by young people, with young people and then social action projects, designed and implemented by young people to make positive change in their local areas.

This film is an artistic interpretation of the research which saw our peer researchers aged 16-25 conducting interviews and surveys with over 350 young people. Commissioned by the young people, they wanted the film to tell a story and bring their research to life for other young people.

This innovative project was part of the national Peer Action Collective, funded by the Youth Endowment Fund, Coop and the #iwillfund (a joint investment between The National Lottery Community Fund and Department for Culture, Media and Sport).
