The Arun Inspires programme of cultural investment for children and young people in the District of Arun is pleased to announce a new small grants scheme to support arts-based projects working with children in the District.

Offering grants of between £1000 – £5000, the scheme is designed to support new creative projects in Arun that particularly target:

  • Children and young people’s mental health and wellbeing
  • Anti-social behaviour
  • Children and young people particularly vulnerable to the impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic

Applications will be accepted from any organisation delivering work in the District, including schools, statutory services, the voluntary sector, non-profits and charities. Independent artists are urged to partner with a delivery organisation to apply. Projects can run across the period September 2021 to July 2022.

The aim of the scheme is to support local organisations serving the needs of children and young people to try out new ways of working, develop new partnerships, and build the evidence bases for the impact of their work. Grants will be supplemented with mentoring and training offers to help strengthen the sector locally.

The deadline to apply is 5pm, Friday July 30th.
