Following the popularity of our 1 hour Online Safeguarding webinar, our professional development team have developed two new training sessions to help meet the changing needs of those working with children and young people on creative projects and programmes at this time.
Creating a Risk Assessment for Arts and Cultural Activities is a 1.5 hour practical follow-up workshop for those who have already attended the Online Safeguarding webinar and would like to put their learning into practice. Working with child protection and safeguarding expert Lesley Wood, participants will reflect on any new ways in which they are now working ie. using online platforms due to Covid-19, and will create or update their existing risk assessment. This session is suitable for anyone with up-to-date safeguarding knowledge, interested in identifying new risks and considering ways of mitigating them.
This workshop costs £35 and will be taking place on the following date:
Identifying Online Safeguarding Risks for the Arts and Cultural Sector is a 2.5 hour training session which offers a more in-depth look at Online Safeguarding, taking our 1 hour signposting webinar further by exploring the risks of your specific activity, ways of mitigating these and tools for reducing your risk ratings.
