The day started with a keynote speech from Laura Gander-Howe (ACE Director, Children, Young People and Learning), addressing the importance of music, arts and cultural education and how it can contribute to wellbeing. The session Kristianne led was attended by a mixed group of school teachers and music delivery partners and focused predominantly on using the quality principles to develop the foundations for an Artsmark award. Participants took part in two short tasks during the 55 minute session, to help them begin to understand through collaboration how they can achieve key elements of the Artsmark.
