Creative Apprenticeships

Kick-starting Careers In The Arts

Working with creative organisations across the South, we offer apprenticeships to young people with a passion for the arts and culture. An Artswork apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to work in the creative industries; learn from the professional team around you, discover your creative flair, and develop the skills and confidence to kick-start a career in the arts!

Through an apprenticeship, young people have the opportunity to work, earn and learn at the same time. With the support of our Learning, Skills and Enterprise team, our apprentices develop the knowledge, skillset and hands on experience to thrive in creative organisations, within professional creative teams.

Artswork is excited to share that our Creative Apprenticeship Programme is now recruiting employer partners for a new cohort of Apprentices following one of two standards – Events Assistant & Cultural Learning & Participation Officer.

Want to find out more about employing an Apprentice? We have put together a resource for potential employers including information on costings, the structure of an Apprenticeship, our Apprenticeship standards – and the benefits of taking on an Apprentice! Download the resource here

The apprenticeship gave me invaluable experience in the workplace with the freedom to explore new career routes in a supported environment.
