Artsmark update, 18/6/2020: Artsmark registrations are now open for new schools and education settings, and those ready to re-register. In order to continue to comply with social distancing, all of our Artsmark Development Days during the Autumn term will be delivered online. For more information, read our latest statement.
Artsmark can help unlock the potential of children and young people, develop character, talent and confidence and increase their knowledge and understanding.
“Everyone in our school has enjoyed working together to achieve Artsmark recognition. The children love the opportunities we plan into our teaching for learning drama, music, dance, art and creative writing skills. It has really impacted on motivating children for learning and improved the quality of our curriculum.”
– Margaret Beel, Principal, Lyndhurst Junior School (Academy)
The Artsmark award is a practical tool for schools and education settings seeking to enrich their arts provision. Adding breadth and balance to the curriculum, Artsmark aligns with core EBACC and STEM priorities by bringing learning to life through arts and culture.
Any school, pupil referral unit, special educational needs or youth justice setting can apply. To find out more about the Artsmark process click here or contact the Artsmark team at Artswork via artsmark@artswork.org.uk
