Since 2014, skills and education providers have been required to actively promote the ‘British Values’ in work with children and young people. The fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, and mutual tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs were first established in 2011 as part of the government’s ‘Prevent’ strategy. The downloadable resource below is designed to make these values memorable and engaging for learners in order to aid their understanding and allow them to apply the values to their own lives and their creative/cultural workplaces.
This resource is best suited to learners 16 years and over, working at Level 2 or 3.
