Freelance Trainer and Project manager
Sally Clements is a freelance facilitator based on the south west who supports arts and cultural organisations and education settings to become more resilient through developing their learning programmes and reflecting on and shaping their business. She has held various national and regional roles and is currently a senior panel member with Trinity College London and Director of Create Studios CIC. She has helped shape Arts Award and Artsmark since their inception. She often works in a grant assessment, monitoring or fundraising capacity. Sally has always worked across art forms to ensure an inclusive approach, previously as National Arts Development Manager with Catch22, with UNITAS, as regional committee member with Children in Need, with Youth Music and across adult and community education. Sally is often asked to observe practice (including as a reviewer for Stagecoach UK and Arts Council England) so brings a breadth of perspective and understanding to quality assurance built up over 25 years. She understands the policy frameworks that impact on arts learning, the challenges and joys of working within this arena and how to support organisations and individuals to structure and reflect on their programmes to ensure maximum impact and enjoyment.
