Buys a young person's travel card to get them to training and other opportunities.
Artswork empowers children and young people through arts and culture. We work to broaden the horizons of the next generation of thinkers, creators, problem-solvers and leaders. As a not-for-profit charity, we need your help to make it happen.
Just some of the challenges young people face today:
- 50% of mental health problems are established by the age of 14 and 75% by the age of 24
- Over 11% of young people in the UK are classified as not in education, employment, or training
Our work creates positive change:
- To date, 88% of young people engaged in our employability programmes have gone onto further education, training or employment
- On average, we have recorded an increase of 22% in confidence recorded by young people engaged through our work
As a leading advocate for the importance of arts and cultural practice, we act as a catalyst for developing young people’s skills and employability through and in the creative and cultural industries.
For every pound we raise through individual giving, we receive a pound in match funding.
