This one-day training session is designed specifically for young and emerging leaders, and professionals supporting young people, who aim to develop their facilitation skills. The course focuses on empowering participants to create inclusive and engaging sessions that amplify youth voice.
Key Features of the Training:
- Developing Core Facilitation Skills: Participants will be introduced to key facilitation techniques, including supporting open dialogue, managing group interactions, and encouraging inclusive participation.
- Adapting to Multiple Intelligences: Drawing from Howard Gardner’s model of multiple intelligences, the training will explore how to tailor facilitation approaches to engage individuals across various intelligences.
- Practical Techniques for Engagement: Participants will learn to employ a variety of approaches to cater to diverse learning styles and keep groups motivated and involved.
- Building Facilitation Confidence: Through interactive exercises, role-playing, and feedback sessions, young leaders will practice and refine their skills in a safe and supportive environment.
