Schools and education

Working within schools and education settings is a key part of what we do. We have a long history of supporting and delivering creative programmes within formal education settings, and supporting the creative development of teachers. This page explores our current work in this area.

Choices

Choices is an innovative programme commissioned by the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Violence Reduction Unit and delivered by Artswork in partnership with BearFace Theatre, designed for young people aged 1012 and school staff. Running from September 2023 to July 2025, the programme uses creative techniques to help young people navigate the challenges they are facing in their lives.

Young Cultural Changemakers

Our Young Cultural Changemakers programme empowers young people in key locations across the South of England to take the lead on creative projects that make a difference to their local area and communities. In each of the areas we work; Arun, Dover, Isle of Wight, Gosport, New Forest, Rushmoor, and Slough, we are delivering projects in partnership with schools, colleges and other education settings.
