    Nina Zaluczkowska (She/​Her)

    Communications, Sales & Marketing Manager

    Nina joined Artswork in July 2023 and heads up the Communications, Sales & Marketing team. Nina has worked in marketing and sales now for over 10 years. Before joining Artswork, she began her years in the charity sector in freelance work with north-east based charity Digital Voice.

    Wanjiku Nyachae

    Trustee

    Wanjiku Nyachae is a Gestalt Psychotherapist and trustee for Artswork. She has experience of being a trustee for charities that champion creative and cultural opportunities for young people.

    Liv Edwards (She/​Her)

    Trustee

    Liv Edwards is a Senior Leader at Kent Music, the Hub Lead Organisation for the Kent & Medway Music Hub. Prior to working at Kent Music, she had a successful career as a secondary school music teacher in East and Southeast London schools and brings with her extensive experience in music education.

    Norinne Betjemann

    Chair of Trustees

    Norinne has always been involved in the arts - be that as an artist, teacher or senior arts administrator. 'The joy and value that my experiences in the arts has brought me is immense'.  Her role as Chair of Trustees is to, with the other board members, ensure that Artswork meets its strategic aims and objectives, makes use of its funding and resources in effective and ethical ways and always has an eye to the future.

    Lisa Thurbon

    Trustee

    Lisa is the Creative Lead at Wightlink Isle of Wight Ferries and uses creativity across all aspects of her professional and personal life. Kick-starting her career with an Artswork apprenticeship in 2017, she then moved on to undertake a second apprenticeship in Digital Marketing. Since then, she has gained experience in multiple roles across the creative industry. She is passionate about arts and culture, and Artswork's mission is a core value in her life.

    Jayanti Shah

    Trustee

    Jayanti Shah MBE brings a wealth of skills to the organisation. A director of Positive Message Ltd and co-founder of Black History Month South, Jayanti has held prominent positions with the Southampton Race Equality Council and race sub-committee, and was an ambassador for the city’s bid to be UK City of Culture 2025.

    Fiona Parkinson (She/​Her)

    Trustee

    Fiona is a commercial lawyer with wide ranging experience both in-house and in private practice working in technology, media and creative industries. Her current day to day job involves advising on a broad range of legal issues across all sectors of the art market. As someone who has always loved and valued literary, performing and visual arts, she believes that all young people should have the opportunity to experience and engage with art and culture.

    Dr Emma Dyer (She/​Her)

    Trustee

    Emma works as a Paediatrician, specialising in Paediatric Emergency Medicine in South London. Her day-to-day job is concerned with the health and wellbeing of children and young people, as well as acting as an advocate for them. She knows that art and culture can have a huge positive impact on children and young people’s lives. She believes that this should be an opportunity available to all children and young people without exception. 

  • Simi Rai (She/​Her)

    Sales and Marketing Officer

    Simi joined the Artswork team part time as the Sales and Marketing Officer in 2023 and holds a bachelor’s degree in Communication Media Culture. Currently in her final year of counsellor training, Simi also counsels college students as part of her training.
