    Louise Webb (She/​Her)

    Placemaking Creative Producer for Kent

    Louise joined the team in 2023. A Kent-based artist, curator, researcher, and creative practitioner, her primary interests lie in exploring alternative methods of learning and placemaking. 
     
    At Artswork, Louise organises and hosts creative consultations with young people in Dover and supports Young Cultural Changemakers in creating public artworks for the town. She collaborates with various partners in Dover and hosts creative events for young people, such as the annual Dover at Night.

    Louise Govier (She/​Her)

    Chief Executive

    Louise is Artswork’s Chief Executive, leading the organisation overall and planning how we achieve our long term vision. 
     
    She taught in universities while gaining a PhD in Art History, then worked in learning and participation in museums, particularly at the National Gallery. A Clore Leadership Fellowship developed new skills, enabling her to research ‘leaders in co-creation’. She then led several properties for the National Trust, finding ways to grow engagement and income through creativity while also helping nature conservation. 
     
    Louise loves enabling young people to find solutions for themselves and the world. She sings, and is a Trustee of creative youth charities In Focus and La Folia.

    Lisa Gardner (She/​Her)

    Finance Lead (Maternity Cover)

    Lisa began her Artswork journey as an Intern in 2004, working on ENYAN and the hub4 project, before later becoming a Trainer for the Artwork Professional Development programme. Believing in the therapeutic power of positivity and calming practice of creation, Lisa has also worked as an Arts Educator and Yoga teacher within a wide variety of cultural organisations and educational settings. 
     
    Lisa has developed many skills at her time at Artswork and now resides in the Finance and Ops Team and Finance Lead (Maternity Cover).

    Lesley Wood (She/​They)

    Training and Quality Assurance Officer

    Lesley delivers innovative training programs that enhance professional development, and promote creativity, and inclusivity. 
    Collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, Lesley identifies with industry training needs, creating accessible learning experiences, and upholding quality in all initiatives. Lesley also provides consultation and support for organisations and individuals working across the creative, cultural and heritage sectors.

    Leanne Livermore (She/​Her)

    Marketing & Events Assistant

    Leanne joined the Artswork team in April 2023 as a Creative Producer Apprentice, graduating in July 2024 with a Level 3 Events Assistant Standard. She has utilised the skills she developed during the apprenticeship to settle into her current role of Marketing & Events Assistant within the Communications Team. 

    Leanne has a BA Hons in Fine Art and is a strong advocate for accessibility, particularly focusing on how we can make arts, culture and events accessible to all.

    Karen Pamplin Browne (She/​Her)

    Data, Evaluation and Impact Manager

    Karen supports Artswork with evaluation methods and strategies, and understanding and demonstrating of our impact. Karen has spent 30+ years working in the art, heritage and education sectors with a focus on the evaluation of participatory arts and placemaking projects. She has qualifications in Graphic Arts, Art Education and Arts Management with experience teaching art, drama and photography in secondary and special needs schools.

    Judith Carrie (She/​Her)

    Portsmouth Creative Skills Programme Manager

    Judith's varied career has always focused on children and young people. 

    Inclusive practice, authentic participation of young people, and the fundamental right of all children and young people to play and be creative have been central themes of her work.

    Jane Mitchell (She/​Her)

    Careers Trainer

    Jane is responsible for providing and supporting meaningful work based opportunities within cultural organisations. 
    Jane has always worked in training and development, as well as mentoring and assessing young people within the workplace to support successful outcomes. 

  • Harriet Carr (She/​Her)

    Sales & Marketing Officer

    Harriet joined Artswork in May 2023. Her background is in arts education, working for a number of years in the learning team at Aspex Portsmouth and instructing with Top Banana Circus CIC. Alongside this she achieved apprenticeship qualifications in Community Arts Administration and Events as an Artswork Apprentice.
