Donna Vose
Head of Budgets, Contracts & Policy
Donna joined Artswork in November 2012 as Programme & Contracts Manager and has been working with arts organisations for over 25 years. With a background in performing arts, she has previously worked as a stage manager, venue manager and technician, including roles with English Touring Opera, English National Ballet and Dance Base working extensively in arts administration and management. Currently she is also responsible for Health & Safety, Environmental Sustainability and is an Assessor and IQA for Artswork’s Creative Apprenticeship programme working across Community Arts Administration, Cultural Heritage and Live Events & Promotion frameworks.
Prior to Artswork, she created and managed 1mile² – a four-year international arts and ecology programme that involved 13,500 people in communities across 8 countries. The programme involved interdisciplinary collaborations between artists and environmental scientists including new commissions, social action research and public art projects and was part of an AHRC funded Connected Communities research programme.
Donna has a BA (hons) in Theatre and an MA in Women, Gender & Writing. She is passionate about sustainability, permaculture and ecology having volunteered for several community organisations and initiatives.
Her favourite authors include Tove Jansson and Keri Hulme.
