Ginny Scholey

Ginny Scholey has many years experience in managing a broad range of complex arts projects and developing innovative, needs based, learning opportunities in the field of creativity and education. Her work has included strategic leadership and advocacy across the Yorkshire and Humberside region, fundraising, budget management, project development and overseeing organisational change.

Ginny is currently the Regional Manager for the Arts Award, with responsibility for developing a regional infrastructure and advocacy programme to promote the award. Her role includes brokering partnerships between artist, arts organisations, voluntary and statutory sector; providing consultancy on new programmes of work and supporting the showcasing of young people’s work.

She has responsibility for a number of arts in education projects; these have included digital media, music, dance and visual arts, the aim at the heart of these projects being to improve the learning and teaching through the development of creative methods, particularly with young people from challenging backgrounds Ginny has managed a young people’s training programme exploring strategies to develop social enterprise through the arts as well as being responsible for the research, development and piloting of creative educational resources for educational managers, teachers  and pupils within a range of settings.

Ginny is a senior Moderator for Trinity College London, a trained coach and Action Learning Set Facilitator.
