Applications open for Artswork Youth Board

Artswork are looking for young people aged 12-25 with an interest in arts and culture to join our new Youth Board, to help mould arts and culture provision and embed strong, powerful and enthusiastic youth voice into Artswork’s strategy.
The Youth Board, which is a collaboration with Portsmouth-based social enterprise, Unloc, will see young people share their thoughts and experiences on key issues with Artswork, in a place where each young person’s voice will be taken seriously, listened to and appreciated.
Being a part of the Youth Board will provide an opportunity to meet and connect with other like-minded young people; opportunity to undertake meaningful work within Artswork and see how the organisation operates; a chance to influence decision-making and change, as well as seeing actions as the outcome of your feedback, ideas and opinions.
There will be nine board meetings over the course of a year, each of them taking place over Zoom.
