Artist Call Out – Arun
Youth-led Artist Commission
Artswork in partnership with young cultural changemakers in Arun are looking to commission a local professional artist/group of artists to run a series of workshops that will develop and plan a new youth-led celebration and community festival in Wick, for March 2024. These events will celebrate the opening of the new KS2 Centre on Eldon Way and say goodbye to the Keystone Centre, where Arun Youth Projects sessions have been based for the past 10 years.
A fee of £5000 is available for this work, to include the artist’s time, VAT, the planning and delivery of sessions, including the events themselves.
Deadline for expressions of interest: 10:00am on Monday 18 December 2023

Up against employers who want experience in the Creative Industry? Our Breakthrough programme offers paid 6-month work placements with training to support your confidence and professionalism in the workplace. The programme is open to any young person between the ages of 16 –25 who have met with challenges securing a meaningful job in the Creative World.
