On Tuesday 13 October, we hosted a webinar for teachers and Senior Leaders, exploring how arts, culture and creativity can support the mental health, wellbeing and resilience of pupils as they return to school
We were joined by Professor Dame Alison Peacock, Chief Executive of the Chartered College of Teaching, along with speakers from schools and arts and cultural organisations across the south East, to explore how the arts can be used to engage learners, positively impacting their mental health and wellbeing, and the role of a Recovery Curriculum.
We were also joined by:
Nia Collins, Southampton & Isle of Wight Music Hub
Tristan Jackson-Pate, Artistic Director, Cherwell Theatre Company
Dave Ayers, Headteacher, River Beach Primary School, Littlehampton
Julia Wisbey, Senior Leader Personal Development & Director of Performance, Admiral Lord Nelson School, Portsmouth
