Artswork’s Heritage Learning Projects: Project Evaluation report

Artswork commissioned evaluators Emily Leach and Kate Pontin to report on six Arts Award Development projects. The six development projects were researched and some of those who took part were interviewed or surveyed.

Artswork funded two development programmes in 2014/15. The first programme supported five projects in ‘cold spot’ areas, where certain schools had been identified as making little use of the museum resources available to them. A second programme supported a group of smaller projects which enabled small museums to experiment with new approaches to working with artists. It was known as the ‘Heritage Call’.
