Our well-established Professional Development programme offers training and support for the arts, cultural, youth and education sectors.

St Helens, Merseyside-based social arts charity Heart of Glass has grown rapidly since joining Arts Council England’s National Portfolio in 2018. Head of Finance and Operations Lindsey West identified a crucial need for all staff to be fully trained in the safeguarding of children, young people and adults to ensure they showcase best practice in socially engaged work as they continue delivering their mission both throughout Merseyside and on the international stage.
