Representation in the Primary Arts Curriculum
Arun Cultural Changemaker aims to uplift and resource locally based freelancers and organisations wherever possible through its work and the programme offers training, networking, mentoring and fundraising support for groups operating in the District.
If you would like to join the email list for updated about opportunities or come along to one of our relaxed Arun Creative Network meetings, please email Rebecca East (email@example.com) with your name, name of org or freelancer, where you are based and art form/s.
Past training events have included: Fundraising for Young People’s Arts Projects; Successful Monitoring and Evaluation; Arts Award at Discover/Explore and Bronze/Silver level; Young Peoples Mental Health First Aid.
We also work to connect teachers working creatively across the District, through training and networking events as well as running projects across locality schools. We also organise regular Creativity in the Curriculum-focussed Teacher Twilights for schools in the District. If you are a teacher who is interested in joining us please Get in Touch.
We are always keen to hear from artists or organisations working in Arun who are confident and experienced facilitating creativity with children and young people . If this is you, please get in touch outlining your practice and experience to Programme Manager, Rebecca East (firstname.lastname@example.org).
