Our creative career programmes support young people to break into the creative industry through work placement schemes, funding and more:

Breakthrough programme
A 6‑month employability programme that provides entry routes into the creative industry for 18 – 25 year olds who have struggled to find meaningful work.

Portsmouth Creative Skills
A creative personal development course that helps estranged and care experienced young people develop life skills, build confidence and discover new possibilities.

RISE Funding for young creatives
RISE provides funding for young creatives age 13 – 30 in the south of England to develop their creative practice

Young Cultural Changemakers
Connecting young changemakers with artists to explore ideas, before giving them funding to shape and deliver creative projects where they live.
Playland – Portsmouth
A vibrant, youth-led creative hub – Playland Portsmouth provides young people with a safe place to express themselves, build skills and experience.
Youth Board
Our Youth Board is a group of young people aged 14 to 25 who engage in monthly online meetings that aim to shape the future of our charity.
