Build Strong Communities

At Artswork, we empower young people to shape the places they live.

Our Young Cultural Changemakers programme put’s young people at the heart of local change, leading creative projects that build vibrant, inclusive art works that the community can be proud of.

Creative solutions for community growth

Working with artists and professionals, young people gain skills, training, and confidence to become cultural leaders and changemakers. They deliver creative projects that leave a lasting impact in their community – some examples include a wildlife garden, a colourful mural, an eco-friendly bike shelter and an art trail that celebrates the local area.

You might be looking to:

  • Start a neighbourhood planning process
  • Engage a community ahead of a planning application
  • Improve the safety or quality of a public space
  • Revive a struggling High Street

Whatever your goal, Artswork’s Creative Placemakers can help you connect more meaningfully with local communities.

Let’s talk. Contact Lucy Marder, Head of Business Development.

All income supports our mission to empower young people through creativity to unlock their potential, build confidence, and create opportunities.
