Safeguarding Training Courses

I found this training very clear, accessible and useful. The content was simple to follow without losing the seriousness of the subject. I especially appreciated the videos, and the final video on creating safe spaces was particularly beautiful, clear and visually engaging. It helped me think about safeguarding not only as a policy, but as something that is actively created through the spaces, relationships and environments we build.

I received detailed information I did not previously have. It was important to learn more about the different forms of abuse, particularly those that can be hidden or not obvious. I feel better equipped to handle any concerns in my context.

Very insightful, thorough, personal and much more relevant and interesting than other safeguarding training I have received in the past. I left feeling assured and confident. 

I really liked the variety and depth of information, also the opportunity to test knowledge throughout and apply to my own professional setting. The case studies and examples linking it to Museums were so helpful.

I enjoyed how bespoke the training was to those working in theatre and youth contexts, as well as how kind the trainer was at sharing their knowledge and expertise. 

I have increased my confidence in identifying and handling safeguarding concerns. This was a really thorough and kind way to train us on an emotionally difficult topic, and it was pitched excellently, with really helpful, relevant case studies for our organisation. 

The course was excellent, well-judged for the context, relevant to our sector, and well worth the time investment.

The trainer was excellent! She made a difficult subject matter feel a lot more approachable and comfortable to discuss. She was very animated in her presentation style which made the training engaging. The way the topics were presented was done with compassion, and built confidence and trust.

Despite tackling some serious and sensitive subjects, this training was delivered in a way that was relaxed and informal. All questions and opinions were welcomed without judgment and I felt I was in a safe space whilst also learning exactly what I needed to. It's a tricky balance to manage and I feel like it was handled very well, so thank you!

It has felt strengthening to explore a more nuanced & holistic understanding of safeguarding that fleshed out policies, procedure and guidance.
