HRH Princess Eugenie Announced as Patron of Artswork

We are delighted to announce Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie as our new Patron. Our Patrons kindly give their valuable time and energy into promoting the work of Artswork, helping us empower young people through creativity and the arts.

Princess Eugenie brings a deep and personal commitment to the arts and youth empowerment, aligning perfectly with the Artswork mission – to unlock the potential of young people through creative opportunities. As a passionate advocate for artistic expression, sustainability, and social impact, Princess Eugenie’s patronage marks a significant milestone in our journey to empower young people to be the next generation of creative and cultural leaders.

Speaking on her new role, Princess Eugenie said:

I think empowerment is such a beautiful word, and so working alongside Artswork to empower young people is something I feel really aligned on. I hope more people will learn about Artswork, and I hope it will create something amazing for the future.”

Princess Eugenie’s involvement in the arts is longstanding. She currently serves as a director at the prestigious Hauser & Wirth gallery and was recently appointed a mentor for the King’s Foundation’s 35 under 35” initiative, supporting young changemakers in the fields of fashion, architecture, sustainability, and the arts. Her hands-on approach and dedication to mentoring young creatives reflect her belief in the transformative power of creativity and education.

We are so pleased that Princess Eugenie has chosen to support our work. With her help, we hope we can enable even more young people to gain confidence, skills and self-belief, and to make a difference to their communities through the power of creativity.”

Artswork runs a range of programmes including the Young Cultural Changemakers initiative and the Artswork Youth Board, which provide platforms for young people to lead, innovate, and shape their futures through creativity. We also offer creative career opportunities through our pre-employment programme, Breakthrough, our funding scheme, RISE, and more.

With Princess Eugenie’s support, we aim to expand our reach and deepen our impact across the UK.
