Terms & Conditions for Public Online Courses
Introduction
Thank you for booking a training course with Artswork Professional Development (APD). We are committed to delivering high-quality, engaging training sessions to support your professional development.
These Terms & Conditions outline important details regarding your booking, including our cancellation policy, refund eligibility, and course participation guidelines. By booking a course, you agree to the terms outlined below.

Booking & Payment
- Bookings can be made online via Eventbrite. We may offer the option to be invoiced directly at our discretion.
- Payment must be made in full at the time of booking, or if paying via invoice, payment must be received prior to attending the course.
- Attendees are not permitted to share the Zoom session details with anyone else. Any unregistered participants attempting to join will not be permitted to stay in the session.
Refunds & Cancellations
- Full refunds are available if cancellation is made more than 7 calendar days before the course start date. Please note that Eventbrite fees are non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for cancellations made within 7 calendar days of the course. However, at our discretion and subject to availability, we may offer: - A place on an alternative course.
- A voucher code for the value of the training to be used on a future booking.
- A £10 administrative charge may apply to late booking amendments (e.g., transfers, name changes), subject to our discretion.
Course Transfers & Changes
- Requests to transfer to another course must be made in writing at least 7 calendar days before the course start date and are subject to availability.
- Requests made within 7 calendar days of the course date cannot be guaranteed, and no refund will be issued if a transfer is not possible.
- A £10 administrative charge may apply to late booking amendments, subject to our discretion.
Discounts & Promotional Codes
- Discount codes must be applied at checkout and cannot be added retrospectively.
- Some discounts may require proof of eligibility.
Attendance & Access
- Joining instructions, including Zoom links, will be sent 2 days before the course and again on the day of the session. Please check your spam folder if you do not receive this.
- If a course has multiple sessions, the same Zoom details will be used for each session.
- Sessions start promptly. If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, you may not be admitted. We cannot be held responsible for any content missed due to late arrival.
Course Content & Intellectual Property
- We do not email our presentation slides directly to you. However, registered participants will have access to the slides for 3 months via our online learning platform. These slides are for reference only and cannot be downloaded. Instructions on how to access the course content will be sent within 5 days of the final session of a course.
- Participants are not permitted to record any part of the session under any circumstances.
- The intellectual property of the training content and methodologies remain with Artswork and any third parties we reference at all times. The content of our training may not be used for commercial purposes unless a separate license agreement with Artswork is in place.
Accessibility & Special Requirements
- If you have any access requirements, please inform us at the time of booking. We will make every effort to accommodate your needs where possible.
Code of Conduct & Participation Expectations
- We aim to create a welcoming and professional learning environment. Participants are expected to engage respectfully and professionally.
- APD reserves the right to remove any participant behaving inappropriately or disrupting the session.
Data Protection & Privacy
- Participants may opt out of further communications at any time.
- Artswork does not share participants data with any third party not delivering training on our behalf.
- Participants may exercise their right to have their data removed from Artswork’s systems at any time by emailing training@artwork.org.uk
Liability & Disclaimers
- APD is not responsible for any technical issues on the participant equipment, software or connectivity e.g. internet disruptions, device failures.
- APD delivers high-quality training however we do not guarantee specific outcomes from any course.
Force Majeure
- APD is not liable for cancellations or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, trainer illness, conflict, strikes, pandemic, government orders, civil or military actions that restrict free movement or safe commercial operations, threats of or acts of terrorism or widespread technical and software failures.
- In the event of Force Majeure, APD will suspend the course and seek to reschedule it at a different time.
