Simi Rai
Simi has a background in creative engagement, communications, and youth participation. She holds a BA in Communication, Media and Culture from Oxford Brookes University and has worked across the cultural, education, and wellbeing sectors, supporting projects that create meaningful opportunities for young people to engage with arts and creativity.
Alongside her role at Artswork, Simi is currently completing an MSc in Advanced Counselling and Psychotherapy at the University of Salford. Her work is informed by a strong interest in participation, identity, belonging, and the role creativity can play in supporting wellbeing and self-expression.
Outside of Artswork, Simi is also a mixed-media artist and BACP-registered therapist, exploring the connections between creativity, emotional experience, and community.
