About United in Art:

United in Art is a FREE online festival celebrating creativity from young voices across the UK, shaped by Artswork's Youth Board.

Take part in creative sessions that encourage understanding, bridge differences, and celebrate the creativity, cultures, and stories that make communities vibrant.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • All workshops are free to attend, but you'll need to register so we can manage numbers and ensure the best experience for everyone.
  • All sessions have been tailored to support young people aged 11-25.
  • Once you book, you will receive a Zoom access link in your Eventbrite confirmation email that will grant you access to the workshop at the scheduled start time. Zoom is free to use, and no account is required to join the session.
  • If you've booked a place and can't make it, please email us on [email protected] no less than 1 day before the event so that we can reissue your place.
  • Yes - you will need a stable internet connection to attend the workshop.
  • All sessions are designed to use materials you are likely to have at home. For all sessions, please have a few sheets of blank paper / notebook and pen or pencil to hand. We will email in advance if there are materials that would be helpful for you to gather before the workshop.
  • Yes - we will use live closed captioning to increase the accessibility of the sessions.
  • Members of the Artswork team will be present throughout the workshops and will identify themselves to all participants at the start of the session. The workshops will be set up so that participants cannot directly message one another at any point during the session.
  • It's preferable for participants to have their cameras on at the start and end of each session, especially when we invite everyone to share their work on screen. However, there is no requirement to keep cameras on in order to take part.
  • No, this is a live event only and we will not be recording sessions to share publicly, though images of the artwork may be shared.
