The role
This dynamic, cross-departmental role offers the opportunity to work across both the Creative Learning and Marketing teams, providing a well-rounded experience of the organisation’s artistic, educational, and audience development work.
This role will include assisting with:
- planning and delivery of Creative Learning programmes, including community classes, workshops, and educational activity (dance experience essential for assisting classes).
- administrative coordination (e.g. travel and accommodation) and practical rehearsal and production support.
- front-of-house operations at JV H.O.M.E., ensuring a professional and welcoming audience experience.
- administrative and evaluative support, including collecting and organising data on programme delivery, engagement, and outcomes.
- marketing and communications by documenting activity and assisting with content creation, reporting, and promotional materials (e.g. social media, newsletters, and case studies).
- Any other duties as reasonably required by the Company.
The role will based at JV H.O.M.E, Creative Enterprise Quarter, Javelin Way, Ashford TN24 8FN.

Having developed a uniquely individual choreographic voice, distinguished by beautifully detailed movement, insightful humour, and engaging drama, Vardimon is renowned for her physical and theatrical style. Incorporating innovative technologies, text and dance, her work is accentuated with an acute observation of human behaviour. As such, it is widely accessible, socially relevant, and always delivered by her company dancers with passion, skill, and commitment.
Jasmin Vardimon has been an Associate Artist of Sadler’s Wells since 2006, and her company tours nationally and internationally, performing at high profile theatres throughout the World.

To be eligible to apply for a Breakthrough traineeship, applicants must:
- Be aged 18-25 on the 28 September 2026
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Available to start work on the 28 September 2026 and available for the duration of the placement (until 28th March 2027)
- Have no or little (less than one month) previous experience of working in an arts, creative or voluntary sector organisation
In addition to the above, applicants should also meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Currently not in employment, education or training (NEET)
- Be disabled and/or Neurodivergent
- Have current or prior mental health issues
- Have experienced racism, homophobic or transgender discrimination
- Be a recent school or college leaver (A level or equivalent)
- Are struggling to find work due to lack of employment or training experience
Please note that this programme is not suitable for those on a degree placement year or an MA programme.
